LOAD

Loading the nylon restraint into the FENDCUFF® Type R (Rigid) Connector is a quick and simple process:

  1.  Insert the head of the nylon restraint into one end of the Connector
  2.  Rotate the head until you see the strap channel in one of the smaller oval apertures
  3.  If using a reusable key operated nylon restraint, the keyway should appear in the larger oval aperture
  4.  Insert the tail of the nylon restraint into the strap channel
  5.  Push the strap inside the strap channel until the tail appears on the other side of the oval aperture
  6.  The teeth of the strap will engage with the pawl causing the nylon restraint to self-lock
  7.  The nylon restraints are now good to go!
